"In Difference" is a sensitive acrobatic duo on the Cyr Wheel. Marica Marinoni and Jef Everaert are very different – in attitude, pace, and temperament. Hesitation meets determination, mediation meets confrontation. Too different to align? Can we coexist without compromise, without fusion, without hierarchy?
The difference is the creative engine in this duo. The metal wheel is their meeting point: In spinning, falling, and getting back up, an intense physical dialogue emerges, as their bodies search for a language without grammar. Jef Everaert and Marica Marinoni leave behind what has been seen and elevate the play with the Cyr Wheel to a new level. Awarded one of the highest recognitions of European contemporary circus, the laureate of "next-circus", the circus artists weigh their differences and balance them out.
