Description

The festival aims to inform and raise awareness among a diverse audience about issues related to respect for human rights and pays particular attention to the artistic quality of the films offered as well as the choice of guests who participate in moments of in-depth analysis and discussion with the public. The selection of films is based on the quality of their cinematic language and their communicative potential, in order to deeply touch the audience by telling realities often little analyzed and known in our latitudes. The Festival guests accompany the spectators in understanding the themes thanks to the precision of their analyses and the strength of their testimonies, in a dialogue that continues beyond the screening of the films. Eight days of festival, an International Feature Film Competition, more than 30 films and in-depth discussions with local and international guests, parallel events, collaboration with foundations, NGOs, international organizations, witnesses, directors and authors: a rich and diverse program to promote engagement and awareness both of the violation and the (re)conquest of Human Rights.
