After three years of stage hiatus, Hubert von Goisern announces a tour for 2027 – an open musical field between perspectives and retrospectives. Loud and quiet. Whether too loud or too quiet is a question he poses to the audience.
"Too loud? Really? I don't think about that. I'm more interested in where this boundary lies for the audience," Hubert von Goisern comments on the tour motto "TOO QUIET? & TOO LOUD!". It has been three years since Hubert von Goisern last performed in front of an audience. However, he was never truly silent during this time. As part of the 2024 European Capital of Culture, Goisern was on the road all summer – with spontaneous, short-notice concerts, with changing guests and line-ups. He himself says about "TOO QUIET? & TOO LOUD!": "I know some would be happy if I just played familiar songs. But I have enough to do to meet my own expectations. Besides, there are also those who would be disappointed if I had nothing new to offer."
The new tour will therefore start exactly there: not as a reproduction of existing programs, but as an open musical field where things are allowed to develop. Loud and quiet – also as different musical approaches that will run through the tour.
