Moderation: Tanja Handels Munich's sister city partnership with Zimbabwe's capital Harare celebrates its 30th anniversary, and we celebrate along. World-renowned authors such as NoViolet Bulawayo, Tsitsi Dangarembga, and Petina Gappah, as well as young talents and newly discovered classics. Translators Patricia Klobusiczky and Jan Schönherr (recently honored with the Bavarian Translator Scholarship) give us an insight into the country and its literature and share challenges, pitfalls, and joys of bringing the linguistic and cultural particularities of Zimbabwe into German.
