Far from Geneva's peaceful and elegant image, we take you into the depths of a city once dark and merciless. Torture devices, interrogations, beheadings, judicial drownings... from the Reformation to the Ancien Régime, the list of tortures and punishments is as long as it is surprising! Candlelit Geneva Starting from Place de Longemalle, candle in hand, you will embark on a journey into the heart of horror. At nightfall, the passages, old facades, and small squares of Geneva's Old Town take on a completely different look. A particularly magical atmosphere at Halloween to bring back the darkest stories of Calvin's City. An interactive walk where you have a say Here, you won't just listen! Throughout the route, your guide will involve you: true or false questions, votes, anecdotes to untangle, historical characters to judge, and small role-plays will punctuate the stories. Guilty or innocent? What punishment would you have pronounced? And most importantly... would you have delivered the same justice as the Genevans of that time? This playful and immersive walk will allow you to discover history while sharing a real moment with the group.
