Description

A historic house – the "Wirtshaus im Schlachthof". Here, the legendary TV series "Zur Freiheit" was filmed. Parts of the TV series "Um Himmels Willen" were also produced here. After 17 years of "Ottis Schlachthof," the cult restaurant becomes the filming location for the new cabaret format "schlachthof," which features national cabaret stars. But even outside of TV recordings, other artists almost daily present their programs in the four event spaces. General Information

The Wirtshaus im Schlachthof in Munich is becoming the new center for cabaret and comedy. In addition to the new "schlachthof" format, readings, live concerts, and performances by soloists and bands regularly take place. The venue offers a unique blend of history and contemporary entertainment.
