„Happy Birthday, Josef Strauss!“ With a festive concert, the Mozart Society Schwetzingen welcomes the new year 2027. The Baden-Baden Philharmonic, conducted by Volker Christ, invites you to an energetic evening entirely in the spirit of the Strauss dynasty. For the 200th birthday of Josef Strauss, waltzes, polkas, and marches full of Viennese charm will be performed – including “Aquarellen,” “Feuerfest-Polka,” “Kaiser-Walzer,” and “Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka.” A musical fireworks display to start the year in the magnificent Rococo Theater Schwetzingen.
