Storytelling Café «Identity – What Defines Aarau?»

No one knows Aarau better than the people who live or have lived here. At the storytelling café of the Aarau City Museum, we will discuss identity together. What defines Aarau? How can I tell that I am in Aarau? The storytelling café is a moderated discussion format that focuses on personal experiences and different perspectives. It is not about prior knowledge or having to say a lot. Participants can share their own memories and stories if they wish. Those who prefer to listen are equally welcome. As an introduction, participants will receive a historical input on the topic. Afterwards, the moderated storytelling café will take place, ending with a small, shared Zvieri. Program 2:00 PM: Welcome and project introduction
2:15 PM: Input from city history author Fabian Furter
2:30 PM: Group discussions
4:30 PM: Exchange over Zvieri
5:00 PM: End

Open to everyone aged 12 and above. We look forward to a brief registration at anmelden@stadtgeschichte-aarau.ch, but participation without registration is also possible. Why are we doing this?
Aarau is rewriting its city history. 25 authors from science, culture, and other fields are jointly creating a new history book. The project also includes podcasts, blog reports, and other contributions.
