Description

Andrea Kauer Loens, museum director, welcomes you. Stephan Scheuzger, member of the board of trustees of the Liechtenstein National Museum, gives the welcoming speech. Monika Grabuschnigg, head of the day structure hpz, introduces the topic. Admission is free, no registration is required, and the lecture will be translated into sign language. Followed by a reception at the Liechtenstein National Museum. What happens when you don't just look at an exhibition but respond to it with your own ideas, shapes, and colors? In this collaboration with the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum of the Principality of Liechtenstein, people with disabilities are inspired by objects from the permanent exhibition of the National Museum to create their own artistic works. Their works are shown as an exhibition within the exhibition next to the corresponding objects. They form a very personal echo and open up surprising, new perspectives. From history come personal stories. At the same time, the project invites us to rethink accessibility: as genuine participation, encounter, and creative co-design.
