Carsten ‚Erobique‘ Meyer is his own genre. After the past 30 years, every bus has passed by him with the latest disco revival, and also returned, it can be put no other way. When in the metropolises it is said: "Erobique is in town," many dance-enthusiastic people between 18 and 80 look forward to sweaty, almost sacred hours full of improvised disco licks and hair-raising singing performances. As a self-proclaimed, initially last disco punk of Germany, the "living disco ball" (FAZ) enjoys breaking up the monotony of beat-mixed laptop DJ culture and delights his fans with sweat-inducing dance marathons with spontaneous ballad segments and wildly quoted wedding oldies. Releases are rare (Asexy, Acid Jazz, among others), his hits ('Urlaub in Italien', 'Easy Mobeasy', 'Ravedave'...) are to be enjoyed live and in color.
