Description
In a world unraveling, where dead matter becomes food again, time seems to be the only thing that remains. Drawing from childhood memories in the countryside, Efthimios Moschopoulos explores the construction of a queer body in a place where there is no language to name this reality. Between nature, adolescence, and fragmented rituals, he creates a sensitive journey from the past to the present, from the individual to the collective. Blending the absurd with raw sincerity, FÁE unfolds as a queer survival manual shaped by vulnerability, tenderness, and transformation. Born on the island of Cephalonia, Efthimios Moschopoulos is a Greek dancer currently based in Athens. He studied dance at the Greek National School of Dance (KSOT, 2014), as well as at the Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2010). He works in Greece and internationally as a dancer, performer, and creator. In his work, he creates hybrid environments where experience, narration, and digital media coexist and constantly transform. Through performative practices, he develops stage forms that unfold like experiential worlds, generating affective and atmospheric conditions. He has collaborated with artists such as Euripides Laskaridis, Christos Papadopoulos, Armin Hokmi, Romeo Castellucci, Ginevra Panzetti & Enrico Ticconi, Sofia Mavragani, Artemis Lampiri, Xenia Koghilaki, and Antonis Foniadakis, as well as with Teo Triantafyllidis, Eva Papamargariti, Pierre Bal-Blanc, and Cally Spooner. He has participated in international festivals and institutions such as Julidans (Netherlands), the Lyon Dance Biennale (France), Tanz im August / Tanzfabrik (Germany), the Buenos Aires International Festival (Argentina), the TransAmériques Festival (Canada), SIDance (South Korea), the Sztuki Museum (Poland), the Frac MÉCA (Bordeaux), and the Palais de Tokyo (Paris), among others. His work has notably been presented at the Onassis Stegi (Athens), where his latest piece, FÁE, was created in 2026. He has also worked as a stage movement director for theatrical productions. In 2020, he received the artist grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, awarded by ARTWORKS. Efthimios Moschopoulos was a recipient of the Onassis AiR scholarship within the Dramaturgy Fellowship program (2024–2025) and is part of the Onassis AiR Grand Luxe Network (2025–2026). Single ticket price of 12 CHF per evening. Your ticket grants access to all performances of the evening. Remember to reserve your seat for each performance.
