Eclipse – from J. S. Bach to K. Jarrett Concert - opening of Viva Sanchez Reinoso's solo album Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM Athénée 4 - Geneva Pianist Viva Sanchez Reinoso will release her first solo piano album, dedicated to the music of J. S. Bach and Keith Jarrett in a double CD that also features her own composition Eclipse. After two years of meticulous work with a team of wonderful professionals, she will be delighted to invite the public to the opening concert held at Athénée 4, on the piano on which she recorded her album. From Bach to Keith Jarrett, several works by J. S. Bach are contrasted with excerpts from solo concerts given by Keith Jarrett throughout his life. Keith Jarrett's language was heavily influenced by Bach's polyphonic music, which he performed and recorded on piano and harpsichord. The program includes several of their pieces, as well as a personal composition by Viva Sanchez, which develops musical trance by repeating the same notes and working on natural harmonics, while evolving the instrument's timbre through acoustic distortion.
