ECHO – A Museum Project with People from hpz

Description

What happens when you don't just look at an exhibition, but respond to it with your own ideas, shapes, and colors? In this collaboration with the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum of the Principality of Liechtenstein, people with disabilities are inspired by objects from the permanent exhibition of the National Museum to create their own artistic works. Their works are shown as an exhibition within the exhibition next to the corresponding objects. They form a very personal echo and open up surprising, new perspectives. From history, personal stories emerge. At the same time, the project invites us to rethink accessibility: as genuine participation, encounter, and creative co-design.

General Information

The ECHO project at the Liechtenstein National Museum shows how people with disabilities respond to the permanent exhibition through their own artistic works. The works are presented alongside the original objects and offer new perspectives on history and art.
