Description

In the tumult of her mind, a young bilingual woman wavers between identities, humor, and dizziness.
Carried by a chorus of four flamboyant actresses, Double Nationality invites us to enter the mind of Rkvaa, a young bilingual woman in a crisis of identity indeterminacy, who lives alone with a potted basil, a plush mole, and incessant thoughts that speak to her in the second person plural. A translator-interpreter, she sometimes works for the police on drug or pimping cases. Vegan and socially awkward, she drinks a little and sometimes pretends to be something she's not, like a princess or Salman Rushdie's daughter. And above all, she is completely amnesic.
