NEKO (cat in Japanese) is a duo founded in 2011 by Hiroshi Funato (Kyoto, Japan) and Jean-Jacques Pedretti.
The two protagonists do not speak the same language, but as soon as they gather their two instrumental voices, they keep communicating...
Often free forms, emotional, joyful, sometimes gently aggressive... like cats.

RECOVER
In this free and physical music, there is a kind of underground call to archaic vitality forces, a wild exorcism. Re-cover, re-discover something from memory, a lost melody through the saturated magma of our world.

General Information

The double concert takes place as part of the JAZZCONTREBAND Festival in Geneva. NEKO, a duo formed in 2011, and RECOVER, a group exploring archaic sounds, will perform from 9:00 PM. Doors open at 8:00 PM.
