Description
The Nibelungen Saga as a humorous parody
About the play
Boundless comedy meets hard guitar riffs. When Siegfried, with the overly large sword, kills the dragon out of helplessness, when the stately Brunhild is more deceived than defeated, and especially when she hangs the weakling King Gunther in the window frame, it becomes clear: there are no more heroes. With surprising ideas, hard rhythms, and brilliant melodies, a medieval epic is conjured onto the stage, taken apart, and reassembled. The Nibelungen Saga boldly and musically by Johannes Galli and Michael Summ.
