Whether it's the abandoned factory around the corner, a fallow meadow, or the uncomfortable village corner – you know the places in the canton that need more love or fresh ideas. Come on Saturday, October 3rd (3:00 PM – 4:30 PM) to the remise of the Freulerpalast! Experienced Glarner architects will translate your thoughts directly onto paper right before your eyes. Bring your idea – we'll turn it into an image! ----- Building culture in the Glarnerland. Exhibition in the remise of the Freulerpalast. Historic townscapes, villas, industrial buildings, churches, public spaces, and landscapes shape the face of the Glarnerland. They tell of its history – and at the same time pose the question of how we want to handle our architectural heritage in the future. The exhibition Denk Mal Glarus invites you to rediscover the building culture of the Glarnerland. It shows successful examples of preservation, recalls lost structures, and focuses on places whose future is still open today. It aims to stimulate reflection and promote dialogue about the value of our built environment. The exhibition was developed at the invitation of the cantonal specialist office for monument preservation and local landscape protection and is hosted at the Museum of the Land of Glarus.
It was conceived by the Glarner architects Reto Fuchs and Andreas Ruby and is supplemented with guest contributions from the associations Countdown 2030 and Klima Glarus.

On Saturday, October 3rd, a workshop will take place at the Freulerpalast where participants can contribute ideas for redesigning the Glarnerland. The event is part of the exhibition "Denk Mal Glarus," which deals with the building culture and architectural heritage of the Glarnerland.
