Description

Original music by Dáša Zázvůrková. The third and most personal album so far, where Dáša Zázvůrková tells a story about love for the first time, is titled Věřím v brzké lepší příští. The lead single is the song I Am Woman, which speaks about strength and femininity. "I Am Woman is a song that signifies a transformation for me. A great text was written directly for me by Martina Preissová, and then I took my ukulele and went away for almost a month to compose the music. This song carries a special message that despite what one has experienced - loss, sadness, immense emptiness, searching for oneself and the meaning of what comes next - one must never give up. It embodies strength, femininity, and a clear direction. It’s a message that even when life sometimes has dark colors, a ray of light will always break through and start to shine. One just has to know how to wish for it,” describes Dáša. The album Věřím v brzké lepší příští contains 8 songs and has a continuous story. Each song tells about a different life stage, with a different color and different experiences, but love remains the main theme. "My second original album Mirákl 9 featured songs dedicated to various people, from women and paratroopers to rowers. I dedicate the album Věřím v brzké lepší příští to my Man. Everyone heals their soul in different ways; I do it through songs. It’s that time when I write about the moments I’ve experienced thanks to our love,” shares Dáša. When asked, "And what does your man do?" the singer humorously replied, "My man is an astronomer and also conducts a bit." This sentence made her partner laugh and pleased him. "Liborek was generous, had a sense of humor, and didn’t cling to anything. That connected us, and that’s why I could afford such a sentence. He was a world-renowned conductor, but at heart, he was an astronomer, cosmologist, and Buddhist. That’s why I chose the baptism at a place where we would be closest - at the Štefánik Observatory. I invited our closest friends, and this way, I will at least feel his presence,” explains Dáša. Věřím v brzké lepší příští, just like the previous Mirákl 9, was created with the renowned producer and musician Honzou Horáčkem. Dáša perceives their collaboration as a musical harmony with significant progress in sound, arrangement, and feeling of the songs. "Our collaboration is very much about the two of us, about understanding, about letting the song live as it deserves. So far, we haven’t encountered clashes of our egos, and I don’t think we will. When Honza comes with an idea or a new thought, I try to listen and serve the song to make it the best it can be. My ego simply takes a back seat. And that’s what I appreciate about our collaboration,” Dáša praises the creation of the album, which is being released in a limited number and for the first time on vinyl. Dáša Zázvůrková is a Czech singer and actress. She studied non-verbal and comedic theater at HAMU under Boris Hybner and Italian studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. From 2003 to 2014, she was an external member of the SEMAFOR theater. She also played the role of Vanilka in the jazz opera Dobře placená procházka at the National Theatre (2007). Currently, she is focused on original creation and you may also know her from the successful performance Můžem i s mužem. She is currently celebrating success with the project Pocta Haně Hegerové, where she interprets hits from the legend of Czech chanson. The concert V barvách semaforu brings the best of the works of Suchý and Šlitr.
