The Prague International Sextet "Bohemia After Dark" focuses on authentic performances of classic and overlooked gems from the golden age of bebop in the 1940s to the emergence of hard bop in the mid-1950s. Among the jazz legends associated with the band's repertoire are Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Kenny Clarke, Charlie Parker, Tadd Dameron, Miles Davis, J. J. Johnson, Clifford Brown, Donald Byrd, and Cannonball Adderley, as well as vocalists Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, and Annie Ross.
