Trickster-p pushes the boundaries between theater and installation once again. With COMMON LAND, they invite you on a journey through time and space, into the depths of your own perception. Three screens, two actors, comfortable chairs, and an enveloping soundscape create an experiential space that appeals to all senses. We repeatedly traverse the same, changing landscape: a house, a meadow, a forest, and behind it the seemingly eternal silhouette of the mountains. The path leads from the grand history to the time of the smallest things, constantly back and forth, until quantum time, when space and time merge. Perception shifts, reference points wobble, and the view widens. Humanity is no longer at the center; it becomes mycelium, part of a thread-like interconnected system. COMMON LAND is an odyssey to ourselves, as individuals and as a collective. Trickster-p combines theater, installation, and sound into a dense experience that expands perception and immerses the audience in a shared space.
