Close in my mind - Picture writing with Tina Rausch & Susanne Theil

Description

SATURDAY WORKSHOP Close-up: The current exhibition »In My Head« at the Museum Brandhorst focuses on in-depth engagement with influential artistic positions of the 21st century — based on key works by Nicole Eisenman, Louis Fratino, Jana Euler, and others. It is the starting point of our workshop: In a guided tour, we practice close reading of artworks and transfer this superpower to literary texts that correspond with the images. We try to understand art and literature solely from themselves. Sensitized and inspired in this way, we then create our own miniature texts, which form the basis for further in-depth and precise reading. TINA RAUSCH is a freelance editor and literature mediator. SUSANNE THEIL works as a scientific consultant for cultural mediation at the Museum Pedagogical Center Munich. Together, they develop training sessions and creative workshops that operate at the interfaces of various arts. DURATION: 10 am - 5:30 pm FEE: EUR 100 / 70
