In response to the exhibition "The Future, What Is It?", a series of free films directly from the future is offered to you as part of the famous MEG Sunday cinema. The MEG is pleased to partner with the queer film festival Everybody's Perfect. Projection: UN MUNDO PARA MÍ, by Alejandro Zuno Mexico 104 min – fiction (2024) Presented in Swiss premiere A young Mexican couple is excited to welcome their first child, but when the baby is born, the medical team, family, and colleagues turn against him. The demand to define him is urgent, as if the entire society depended on it. The baby is intersex; his anatomy does not allow him to be classified as "girl or boy". Faced with social pressure from all sides and its heavy binary machinery, the couple is forced to make a quick decision, for or against a decisive operation. From injunctive violence to awareness, the evidence emerges: why decide for your child? A grounded, wise, and didactic story to see urgently. The film will be screened in Spanish VO with French subtitles. In collaboration with the Everybody's Perfect festival.
