CHARLES ESTEN Charles Esten, American actor, singer, songwriter, and comedian, is known for his remarkable artistic versatility. He first gained attention in London by portraying the rock'n'roll legend Buddy Holly in the famous West End musical Buddy, then became widely recognized for his improvisational skills on the iconic comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway? In film and television, he has played numerous notable roles, including alongside Kevin Costner in the film The Postman. In 2012, his musical career took a major step forward with his leading role as Deacon Claybourne in the hit series Nashville, establishing him firmly in the country scene. He also holds an official Guinness World Record for writing and releasing 54 singles in 54 consecutive weeks. More recently, he made a strong impression as the formidable antagonist Ward Cameron in Netflix's flagship series Outer Banks. In January 2024, Charles Esten released his first independent studio album, Love Ain’t Pretty, which received critical acclaim. Now filling concert halls across Northern Europe, this accomplished artist will perform for the very first time in Switzerland, choosing Geneva for this special debut.
