Carnaval de Nendaz

Description

This ancient tradition takes place every year on Mardi Gras in Nendaz and is an event for the whole family: costume contest for children animated by a clown, craft workshop with the presence of Cheesy (registration at Nendaz Tourism), mini ice disco, torchlight descent, and parade are the highlights of the celebration. The theme changes every year and thus inspires the decor of the event and the costumes of the participants. Dressed up or not, take part in this joyful and cheerful celebration!
PROGRAMME 14:00-17:00: Costume contest for children, mini ice disco at the Haute-Nendaz ice rink, and hot chocolate service offered with the presence of Cheesy 14:00-16:00: Craft workshop (registration with Nendaz Tourism) 18:45: Parade with floats and guggens (Les Chenegaudes and Los Diablos) from Square to the Télécabine square 19:30: Arrival of the torchlight descent at the bottom of the Tracouet slope with ski instructors' show 19:00-20:00: Hot drinks service offered at the Télécabine square
