A picture. Many hands. A common goal. Our community works are created through the ideas of many people. Everyone leaves a small part – some start something, others continue it, add to it, or transform it into something new. That is exactly what is intended. Because with BoW, it is not about who created which part. It is about what we create together and who ultimately benefits from this work. Therefore, all community works are carefully completed by the BoW team after their creation. Lines are retraced, colors harmonized, and the overall picture finished. Some contributions remain clearly visible, others blend into the overall work. But even if the individual brushstroke is no longer recognizable at the end, it remains part of the story. Every idea inspires the next – and from this, something emerges that no one could have created alone. It is not the individual contribution that is the focus, but the collective work and the impact it creates. Thank you for being part of it. 🖤🤍 Art donations – consciously anonymous
Even donated artworks follow a clear principle at BoW: Anonymity is a deliberately chosen prerequisite. Because it is not the artist who should be in the spotlight, but the person who ultimately benefits from the work. With the anonymous art donation, the giver is intentionally placed in the background. This creates space for what truly matters: the impact of the work and the good cause it fulfills. Recognition, attention, or self-promotion are not the focus, but the willingness to pass something on without expecting anything in return. Therefore, all art donations at BoW are received and passed on anonymously. Taking responsibility
Taking responsibility generally has nothing to do with judging life circumstances or assigning blame, but simply explains: No one can determine what will happen to them in life. Some people have more opportunities, others find themselves in situations they can hardly manage alone due to illness, setbacks, separations, or other life circumstances. And it is precisely here that voluntary compensation should take place. It should be understood that financial compensation is not just a voluntary matter. The fact is: Compensation can only be made by those who have the financial means. That is why people, companies, and organizations with such means must consciously take responsibility. Not because they are responsible for others' financial difficulties, but because they understand the circumstances, can take responsibility, and, as nature would say, "show maturity." Helping or taking responsibility, therefore, means understanding existing circumstances and acting accordingly in a way that is truly needed. Each work is auctioned for a good cause.
Buying a BoW artwork is therefore more than just purchasing a picture. It is a visible sign of taking responsibility and voluntarily contributing to a healthier social balance. Either way
