The Artisanen
Based on the well-known picture book by Peter Schössow, the Artisanen tell the story of Käpt’n Lüttich and his crew: It seems like nothing is going right anymore. No money is left to repair the old tugboat. But then Lüttich and his loyal crew find an egg from which a strange bird hatches: a dodo. Haven't they been extinct for over 300 years? Not anymore, because scientists recently discovered a dodo egg on Mauritius. Unfortunately, it fell overboard on the way home. The reward: 50,000 marks! Just enough for the tugboat! But what will happen to the poor bird? Should it spend its life in the zoo? Käpt’n Lüttich thinks that can't be right. Now that the tugboat is back in shape, it's not far from Hamburg to Mauritius.
