Stop Motion Film Making Workshop at the Cité Library

Description

Do you know the phenakistoscope? And the zoetrope or the kinetoscope? In this workshop, we talk about moving images and create a stop motion animation film from photographs by Eadweard Muybridge. Participants break down the moving photographs of this cinema pioneer to then create their own animation film.
Two dates to choose from: Tuesday, October 20 or Wednesday, October 21. This is the same workshop repeated twice.

General Information

This workshop allows participants to discover animation techniques using photographs by Eadweard Muybridge. The sessions take place at the Cité Library in Geneva and are open to all interested.
