AMISTAT Two twin brothers, one voice. The twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil, known as Amistat, embarked on a remarkable musical journey that transcends borders and is based on an unspoken and inexplicable bond. Their captivating story is primarily experienced through the power of their harmonious melodies, influenced by a rich variety of cultures. Born in Germany with roots in the Czech Republic and Australia, thanks to their parents, Josef and Jan grew up in a cultural whirlwind. The early years of the Prasil brothers saw them settle in Italy, where they spent their youth until high school. This Italian period laid the foundation for their diverse musical influences, adding a Mediterranean touch to their artistic repertoire. Their subsequent move to Australia further enriched their cultural experiences. The land of the antipodes infused their music with the vitality of the southern hemisphere and broadened their horizons. It was ultimately their return to their hometown of Rosenheim, Germany, in 2019, that marked a decisive turning point for this extraordinary duo. After a significant 2025, with over 30,000 tickets sold across Europe, the UK, and North America, the twin brothers return in 2026 with new tracks illustrating their evolution and artistic mastery. This fall, Amistat begins a major European tour, offering fans the first opportunity to hear their new sound live. Alongside this headlining tour at the end of the year, the duo will also perform at several festivals across Europe, as well as a series of concerts in Canada this summer. Known for their incomparable harmonies and instinctive musical chemistry, they continue to captivate audiences around the world.
