“Music is our common language of friendship” The ensemble akkzente was formed against all odds during the Corona period. The players of the ensemble met during the summer orchestra of the Accordion Youth Baden-Württemberg and the Accordion State Youth Orchestra Baden-Württemberg (ALJO BW). During intensive rehearsal phases and exciting concert tours around the world, friendships developed that extend beyond the duration of the project orchestras. From these experiences, the desire arose to meet privately in their free time and make music together. The Corona period was the impetus to turn this idea into reality. The akkzente players are also actively involved in various regional and national orchestras. As part of the Accordion State Youth Orchestra Baden-Württemberg (ALJO BW) and the Federal Accordion Orchestra (BuAkkO), rehearsal phases and international concert tours remain a regular part of the players' annual program. The ensemble does not set any boundaries regarding style, repertoire, or composers. Our goal: to push the boundaries of the accordion both technically and musically and to set “accents” with the instrument's diversity in the world of music. Additional information:
