Description

For many years, the Weingarten Music Days have been promoting the stars of tomorrow. In the concert format Young Elites, young musical talents are given a stage: winners of the Federal Competition Jugend musiziert and the German Music Competition. Constantin Heise, Cello
Constantin Heise (born 2001) is a prizewinner of national and international competitions, including the German Music Competition, which he won in March 2026. Since 2024, he has been a scholarship holder at the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic. He has performed as a soloist at international festivals multiple times (Verbier Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Beethovenfest Bonn, among others) and with ensembles such as the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn or the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt. He is currently studying with Julian Steckel at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
He plays a cello by Jean Baptiste Vuillaume, Paris 1874. Additional information:
