Description

In early 18th century Venice, the highly gifted violinist Cecilia lives in Venice's largest orphanage, the Ospedale della Pietà. There, especially talented orphan girls receive musical training - but only to attract wealthy patrons as financial supporters for the orphanage with the orchestra. Art has opened Cecilia's mind, but not the doors of the orphanage. Her only way out would be marriage. With the arrival of the new violin teacher, Cecilia's ordered world begins to shake. His name is Antonio Vivaldi.
