Description

In 1982, Bruce Springsteen – portrayed by Jeremy Allen White in the film – works on what is probably his most radical album: "Nebraska." In a phase of inner turmoil, where his own fame increasingly threatens to overwhelm him, he consciously decides against the recording studio. Instead, he retreats to the solitude of his bedroom. There, no rousing rock anthems are created, but rather dark, fragile songs – stories of guilt, loss, and violence, recorded on a simple four-track device.
