Description

An ordinary man starts dancing disco, in search of resilience and revenge on his past.
Jean-François monologues, rambles, talks to himself. In his fifties, single, employed in maintenance, he doesn't seem to thrive, while his doctor delivers an ultimatum: "Move, or you're dead." But just as he signs up for a disco dance class, Michaël, a former classmate, reappears, and memories flood back "like a boomerang to the face." Michaël, who harassed him 30 years ago, returning, disturbs Jean-François and reactivates a never-healed wound. Now, he thirsts for revenge and recognition, aiming for victory at the 40th Night Cup. 7-8 Jean-François is the unfiltered speech of those for whom resilience is still, perhaps, to come.
