Delicacy of Viennese strings
Philippe Morard, artistic director of the Advent Concerts of Villars-sur-Glâne, will take a leave after 25 years of activity leading the Wiener Concert-Verein, an orchestra with which several magnificent collaborations have taken place, whether in partnership with the Villars-sur-Glâne Vocal Ensemble or within the framework of our Advent concerts. The program features great romantic works: Grieg's Holberg Suite, Dvořák's Serenade for Strings, Puccini's Crisantemi, and, to discover, Coleridge-Taylor's Four Novelettes.
