1st Munich Book Fair

Description

At the opening of the 1st Munich Book Fair, organizers Ann-Katrin Zellner and Stefan Zeh, both crime authors, want to present a colorful mix of female and male authors, indie publishers, and other great exhibitors to showcase the diversity of the book market. A focus is on the genre Romantasy and Asian pop culture including manga and cosplay. On about 8,000 square meters of exhibition space, exhibitors will present their books and sign them upon request.
On the upper level, visitors can expect readings, the book box, workshops, lectures, a discussion round, and a live recording of a special episode of the podcast “Weird Writers” during the various rooms. The 1st Munich Book Fair will open its doors from 10 am to 6 pm for all visitors. As already known from Stuttgart, time slots for entry have been introduced to better control visitor flow. Attention, tickets are limited per time slot! Visitors can stay as long as they like.
Food and drinks are provided: The catering team will sell a warm lunch, small snacks, drinks, and sweets. There is a day ticket office on site for those who decide spontaneously to be part of the 1st Munich Book Fair. Attention, waiting times should be expected!
