The concert was conceived from a series of performances in Basel and connects Spanish and Argentine music from a deliberately Canarian perspective. Zwischen zwei Ufern is a concert project of CEMAJ – Centro de Enseñanzas Musicales Arena y Jable on La Gomera. The concert rather tells of two musical worlds connected by the Atlantic, migration, language, memory, and shared cultural experiences.
