Together with the doctor Ben Manuel, a little girl, and many others, these fates intertwine wonderfully in this novel. The idea for this book was a personal encounter with a man who lost his wife and child in an accident. He was alone, gave up himself and everything related to his life, and decided from then on to live on the street. Kristina Böhm, born in 1959 in Berlin, is a German actress, singer, and writer. As the daughter of actor Karlheinz Böhm and his second wife Gudula Blau, her professional path initially began as a trained hotel clerk. Later, she completed acting training, which led her to engagements in well-known TV series such as “A Home for Animals,” “The Mountain Doctor,” and “Love Stories.”
Besides her work as an actress, Kristina Böhm has been intensively devoted to writing and music for many years. She composes her own songs, which create a direct bridge to her novel “Splinters in Our Hearts.” These musical elements also flow into her readings and give them a special depth and closeness. Lunch
