Carole Christinat studied art history and has been painting for 26 years. Discover Spiez through a new lens—and experience the inspiration our town has given this artist. Mountain peaks and lakes, snow and palm trees, castles and chalets, narrow streets and panoramic views. The Vaud-based painter Carole Christinat has fallen in love with the contrasts of Spiez. Since 2024, she has returned time and again, staying with locals and immersing herself in the town’s atmosphere. The result is a series of small-format watercolors of the bay: in every season, bathed in ever-changing light. And even a bedtime story for her children: “The Land of Fairy Tales.”
