Description
Literature among treasures, stories among bookshelves: In October, “Zürich liest” will be making a guest appearance at the Arche Brockenhaus. Over the course of two evenings, a variety of literary encounters await you—from children’s literature and story readings to poetry slams and a lyrical-musical soirée. Katja Alves – Ghostly stories Reading for Children
Born in Portugal and raised in Switzerland, Katja Alves is one of Switzerland’s best-known children’s book authors. Before and alongside her writing career, she worked as a bookseller, game designer, DJ, columnist, and editor, among other roles.
Today she writes children’s novels, plays, and radio dramas. At the Arche Brockenhaus, we can look forward to a special “ghost reading” with her—perfect for the fall season and the unique atmosphere created by all the stories and treasures found in our thrift store. Admission requires registration at cynthia. kuster@archezuerich. ch.
Admission is free, but we’ll be taking a collection on-site and appreciate your contribution.
Following the events, we invite you to a small reception. We look forward to welcoming the artists, hearing many exciting stories, engaging in conversations, and of course, seeing you there!
