Description
What makes us human? What forms and manifestations do communication, cooperation, and culture take in the animal kingdom? How do researchers study these complex relationships in primates and other animals? For centuries, researchers from all disciplines, as well as musicians, artists, and poets, have been engaged with the uniqueness of our species. This question has also shaped the research of the Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology since its founding 125 years ago. In this exhibition, you will discover the differences but above all the similarities between other animals and us. Would you like to learn more about the current anthropological research at UZH and engage in dialogue with us? Then explore the exhibition as part of a guided tour.
