Zürich reads - The Book Festival

Description

Every October, the book festival invites you to over 100 different locations in Zurich and the surrounding area, opening curtains and stages for more than 200 events. A diverse program for all ages and interests: international stars, Swiss authors – from highly literary to entertaining, from informative to inspiring, with relevance, topicality, and innovation. For six days, space and time are created for conversations, readings, discussions, workshops – and for all that can be discovered between the chairs and between the lines. We want to make literature accessible to everyone. No prior knowledge is needed; curiosity leads to many discoveries, often very spontaneously – because over a third of the events are free and work without registration. You decide what Zurich reads and what literature means to you.
