For example, to 19th-century Paris, where Louise Farrenc consciously opposes the popular opera and confidently turns to «musique sérieuse». Or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose piano concerto in D minor is among his most profound compositions, deeply marked by great passions. With Martin James Bartlett, you will experience a soloist who makes this emotional complexity tangible with deep expression and virtuosity. Franz Schubert continues the program into existential depth. The B minor symphony, created shortly before his death, remains unfinished, «full of hope for what will not be». At the conductor's podium for this expressive concert program stands the rising guest conductor Felix Mildenberger.
