Opium fürs Volk - Die Toten Hosen Tribute Band

Description

"You are the people and we are your opium ..." – under this motto, in 2021, due to a new lineup, the band "Opium fürs Volk" was formed from one of the most successful Die Toten Hosen tribute bands "Kauf Mich!" The guys continue the motto: a tribute to Die Toten Hosen. "Opium fürs Volk" offers a professional and energetic show inspired by the original live recordings. From the entire repertoire of the most famous punk rock band from Düsseldorf, the band plays everything a Hosen fan wishes for, from old classics to new works. Additionally, lesser-known gems loved by the band and partly forgotten or rarely played by Die Toten Hosen themselves are alternately included. The band "Opium fürs Volk" consists of Sascha Maurer (rhythm guitar), Andreas Cruañas (vocals), Dave Ludwig (drums), Christian Schnakenberg (bass), and Markus Schumacher (lead guitar).
