Saturday, Nov. 21, 1 PM - 5 PM TanzAreal Sunday, Nov. 22, 11 AM – 3 PM TanzAreal Workshop with Luiza Braz Batista [Pina Bausch Lab] Repertoire Workshop on "The Rite of Spring" On November 21 and 22, TanzAreal in cooperation with TANZ Karlsruhe, in collaboration with the Pina Bausch Foundation, will host a repertoire workshop on "The Rite of Spring" by Pina Bausch, with Luiza Braz Batista — guest artist of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch and official restager of the choreographer's works for the Pina Bausch Foundation. The Pina Bausch Lab is aimed at professional dancers and advanced dance students and invites them to explore Pina Bausch's choreographic universe under professional guidance. The focus is on one of the most significant works in dance history: "The Rite of Spring" is one of Pina Bausch's pioneering works and has had a lasting impact on contemporary dance theater. Level: Advanced

Participation fee: €70–90 (based on self-assessment or depending on personal financial circumstances)
There is also the possibility to participate as an observer (listener) in the lab. 10–15 places are available at reduced costs, allowing observational participation in the work process as well as insights into the choreographic material.

General Information

On November 21 and 22, a repertoire workshop on Pina Bausch's "The Rite of Spring" will take place at TanzAreal Karlsruhe. The workshop is aimed at professional dancers and advanced dance students and will be led by Luiza Braz Batista, a guest artist of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch.
