The two trained musical singers Maren Beiner and Alexander Voß take you on an emotionally charged journey through the world of musicals with their concert "Musical Emotions." Featuring the most beautiful songs from well-known works like Aladdin, Wicked, or Starlight Express, they delight just as much with musical gems from lesser-known musicals, including Dracula, Secret Garden, or Robin Hood.
Already in productions like Babytalk or Im weißen Rössl at Jakobustheater, they have impressively demonstrated how harmoniously their voices blend together. This time, you can expect a varied and captivating concert that you should not miss. Maren Beiner Maren completed her training in singing, acting, and dance at the Stage School Hamburg. As a soloist, she has performed in Hamburg at the Altonaer Theater, in the Laeiszhalle, on Kampnagel, and at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus in the production "The Little Mermaid." She has also performed with the touring ensemble "Von Engeln und Dämonen" alongside well-known musical actors such as Ethan Freeman, Yngve Gasoy Romdal, and Maricel. Additionally, she toured Germany with the one-person show "Der kleine Zahlenteufel," captivating her young audience. She also appeared in productions like "Baby Talk" and "Im weißen Rössl" at Jakobus-Theater. Besides her stage work as a singer, Maren works as a voice coach and choir director, teaching singing with a focus on musical and pop.
Alexander Voss studied musical at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Michele Friedman. Since then, he has had many engagements, including JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, GODSPELL, MÄNNERSACHE, BABYTALK, I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, and DER BETTELSTUDENT. He achieved great success as "Balou" in the musical DSCHUNGELBUCH at GOP Varieté in Hannover. In December 2007, he was a finalist at the Federal Singing Competition for Musical in Berlin. He is now active not only as a soloist but also as a vocal coach, choreographer, and choir director in the Karlsruhe area, where he recorded his first professional solo CD "Everything that I am." This event is a guest performance; therefore, free tickets, supporting member tickets, and 2-for-1 vouchers are not valid for this event.
