Woodlands Bäckafall is a quartet consisting of two duos, both well-known in the Swedish and Celtic music scenes. The four musicians blend the essence of Swedish Midsummer with the lively atmosphere of an Irish pub. With four voices, five languages, and a colorful mix of Nyckelharpa, Celtic harp, violin, and guitar, the band breathes new life into traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, and Sweden. Songs in Gaelic, French, English, and Swedish are playfully combined with driving reels, captivating waltzes, and mysterious ballads.
