We want to share the beauty of this place and our passion for our work, which is why we’ve created unique experiences for you centered around wine and fine food, guided by the principles of sustainability and respect for nature—which are so dear to our hearts. You can choose between a Wine & Dine experience in the dining room overlooking the barrel cellar or in the herb garden, around our “Ring of Fire,” or opt for a fascinating tasting journey of our wines “from the vineyard to the glass.” An experience at Tenuta Castello di Morcote is always a moment of discovery and pleasure. Our Wine & Dine begins with an aperitif, which—weather permitting—takes place in the garden in front of the winery, around the Feuerring, the ring of fire that symbolizes our connection to the volcanic soil from which our wines are born. Before sitting down to dinner, guests who wish to do so can take a brief guided tour of the winemaking cellar and the barrel room.
Dinner is served in our cellar’s dining room, which overlooks the barrel room on one side and offers a view of the vineyard on the other. During the warmer months, Wine & Dine takes place in the garden next to the vineyards, under the stars. For the menu, which varies from time to time, our chef uses only seasonal, local, or homegrown ingredients: vegetables, herbs, and flowers from our organic gardens, as well as honey and olive oil from the estate. Pasta, bread, and preserves are also made in-house. A fantastic experience in a unique setting, where you can savor cuisine that springs from the very same soil as our wines.
The event begins at 7:00 p. m. For those who wish, it is possible (with advance notice) to arrive early at 6:00 p. m. for a scenic walk through the vineyard. With the help of our informational map, you’ll discover the history of our estate and the cycle of vineyard work along the way.
