Description
“Worrying is like paying debts that may never be called in.” Will Rogers
Worries and fears are a phenomenon closely linked to being human. Even Jesus emphasizes this in John 16:33: “In the world you will have trouble...” At the same time, the Bible calls us to cast our worries on God and trust in His provision.
The goal of the course is to create understanding of our susceptibility to worry and to acquire more skills for a constructive handling of worries. Another focus will be on looking to God, who repeatedly invites our trust: “Fear not!”
The topic will be examined from psychological and theological perspectives.
