Do you already know how we will think? Do you already know how we will recognize? How we will laugh about what tomorrow will bring and do you still remember how it won't happen? Everything here as always... Eight Buckets Chicken Hearts Siggi Leupold spent the first 49 years of his life in Berlin, played trombone, and observed the intersection of Danziger Straße/Ecke Schönhauser Allee. Sometimes he drank a beer with his friends and was happy. Until one of his friends, a stranger he met at Konnopke, asked him shortly before his 50th birthday: "Do you already know how beautiful it will be?" and Siggi replied: "No, I don't know. But I would like to know." Whereupon he impulsively got on the next tram, cheerful and exuberant, full of ideas for his next trombone solo. Director Milan Peschel approaches the theme of inclusion together with the ensemble and the band Eight Buckets Chicken Hearts musically. They ask themselves: What is the meaning of life for actors with disabilities? How do they define happiness? And what is our relationship to the past and the future? Why do many things from the East (Berlin) no longer have a place? Isn't one's own identity closely linked to memories of childhood? In a city where memories are constantly disappearing, people philosophize about life at night when it becomes quiet. It's about the possibilities and benefits of adapting, the advantages of slow living, and what is truly important.

General Information
