The world's first KÖRPERWELTEN museum displays unique plastinates that provide visitors with easily understandable detailed knowledge about individual organ functions as well as common diseases.
It offers insights into the highly complex structures of the inner body and illustrates what connects us, keeps us upright and moving, and what makes us laugh and love.
We invite you to a unique encounter with life and an exploration of your body.
The plastinates shown in the exhibition come from the body donation program of the Institute for Plastination in Heidelberg, which now has more than 22,000 registered donors.
